We are looking for a Java TL with at least 1 year in leadership role and should be able to build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Java Team Leader roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Qualification: BCA/MCA, B.E/M.E, B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or any relevant field

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Java developers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software projects.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, best practices, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to manage expectations and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for review.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business use cases and requirements to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Read between the lines to identify underlying needs and potential challenges, ensuring the team delivers solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
  • Developing multimedia applications and documentation to assist users

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of the latest Java Features.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and should have participated in supporting critical phases of projects.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (especially Google Cloud), and microservices architecture.
  • Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Knowledge of Relational/Non-Relational Databases.

Nice to have

  • GitHub/Bitbucket/SVN knowledge
  • Experience as an Oracle Certified Java Developer
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
