Project Summary

The project aims to develop a mobile application focused on facilitating employee location tracking for administrative purposes. The primary goal is to enable users to utilize NFC (Near Field Communication) technology embedded in the app. By tapping an NFC tag, the application will allow the admin, as well as clients, to efficiently track and monitor employee locations in real time.

While developing the app for our client we initially posed the following challenges for this project:

  • NFC Tag Scan: Implementing a seamless NFC tag scanning process posed a challenge, requiring precise integration to ensure accurate location tracking.
  • Background App Functionality: Enabling the application to run efficiently in the background presented a technical challenge, demanding careful development for uninterrupted employee location monitoring.

The WebOsmotic team delivered the following:

  • Front End: Developed web application using React JS with state management.
  • Back End: Design and architect the server and APIs with database schema.
  • Cloud Services: Create and manage the AWS S3 buckets.
  • Deployment: Manage the deployment on the CPanel server.
  • Mobile App: Developed Mobile application using React Native.
