OKR Steering has dealt with lots of data coming from a single API on the first load, so the challenges were:

  • To make the initial loading of the application faster even after lots of data is received.
  • Code optimization to improve performance by making the application modularized.
  • Queue management of user action so that all actions/operations run seamlessly without blocking the user’s interaction with the system.
  • Integrating Syncfusion Query Builder with custom templates and displaying data dynamically in tables.
  • Frontend: An easy-to-use user interface with graphical visualizations. E2E testing: Designing and writing test automation scripts using Playwright.
  • D3.js-Based Heatmap: At its core, the project offered a D3.js-powered heatmap, presenting data regarding patient visits to hospitals and the corresponding time intervals.
  • Interactive Controls: Users could seamlessly manipulate the visual through features such as speed adjustment, play, pause, and the flexibility to switch between diverse views, including weekly, daily, and hourly.
  • Live Data Loading: The platform supported real-time data loading from the backend, ensuring that users could access up-to-the-minute information.
  • Custom Visualization: Users were empowered to select and tailor their preferred visualization, catering to their specific needs.
